Your grill must be at least 10 feet away from any structure, trees, bushes, tents, cars and overhangs.

Do not wear loose clothing that could contact the fire.

Have the right tools for cooking – long handle utensils and good oven mitts.

DO NOT USE THE GRILL IF CONSUMING ALCOHOL!

Never leave a grill unattended!

Never use gasoline to start your fire!

Never add lighter fluid to the coals once they are lit!

When you’re finished grilling, drench the hot coals in water!

Contact your local Family Morale Welfare and Recreation office to find out about approved areas to barbecue on post. Grilling is not authorized in most off post locations!
