On Sunday, 19 January, the Republic of Korea Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Mu Phi Lambda Chapter, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. will be hosting the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. March and Observance Program. They invite the community to come and join them in a candlelight March to celebrate, honor and highlight the noteworthy achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This event will recreate a historical candlelight March to commemorate and reflect on the various civil rights March's organized and conducted by Dr. King himself. The March will conclude with a program that celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. King at the South Post Chapel at 1800. The community will gather at 1700 at the Collier Community Fitness Center and they will march to the South Post Chapel.

Please bring penlights, flashlights or candles to the event. The 20th of January marks the federal holiday for Dr. King.

For more information on this event, please call Ms. Marilyn Roseborough at 010-4695-6757, DSN 738-7186 or Dr. Spencer Walton at 010-2595-1906.
