Liberty Fest set to light up Osan's skies

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The 51st Force Support Squadron will host "Liberty Fest" on the Osan Air Base operations ramp from 4 to 10 p.m., July 4.

The free event is open to all members of Team Osan and offers entertainment by local bands traditional Korean performances, static displays, demonstrations and a fireworks display.

Free transportation will run to the ramp from the main gate, Hallasan Tower and Bldg. 600 beginning at 3:20 p.m.

Prohibited items at the event include all food and beverages, ice chests,coolers and backpacks. All bags and purses are subject to search.

1600 -1650 - Activities begin, "Engine" live band
1650 - 1700 - DJ/music/prizes
1700 - 1735 - Local performance violin team "Violet"
1735 - 1800 - Retreat, opening remarks and DJ/music prizes
1800 - 1830 - "Drum Cat" performance
1830 - 1900 - Meet and greet with "Drum Cat"
1900 - 1950 - "Engine" live band
1950 - 2010 - DJ/music/prizes
2010 - 2100 - Live band "LRD," countdown to fireworks show
2100 - 2115 - Fireworks show
2115 - 2200 - "LRD" live band

2nd Stage

1600 - 1630 - DJ/music/prizes
1630 - 1700 - Traditional Korean performance "Nong-Ak Nori"
1700 - 1720 - DJ/music/prizes
1720 - 1750 - Retreat, opening remarks
1750 - 1830 - Kids games (hula hoop) and dance time
1830 - 1900 - "Noridan" modern Korean performance
1900 - 1930 - "Last for One" B-Boy dance group
