The safety of USAG Humphreys community members is extremely important to the Garrison Command, especially during inclement weather. When there are inclement weather conditions, the Garrison’s team of experts will check the road conditions, make a determination and then begin notifying school principals and the community as soon as possible, to collaborate on the best course of action.

To help with communications, community members can choose to sign up for the Telephonic Alert System (see below) to receive text messages, or follow the U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys (Camp Humphreys) Facebook page (URL below), or tune in to AFN Osan Radio (88.3 FM). Although not all, these are the primary ways that the Garrison notifies the community with emergency messaging. Other are listed below.

Also, during extremely cold weather, it is advisable for sponsors/parents to make sure that while their children are waiting for the bus, they wear appropriate outdoor clothing (layers of light, warm clothing), mittens, hats, scarves and waterproof boots.
