Team Osan congratulates newest chief-selects
OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Of the 2,023 senior master sergeants eligible for promotion to chief master sergeant Air Force-wide, 400 were selected; a 19.77 percent selection rate, Air Force Personnel Center officials announced.
The average score for those selected was 671.81, with an average time in grade of 3.08 years and an average time in service of 22.24 years. The average score for enlisted performance reports was 135. Those selected had an average decorations score of 24.30, and an average promotion fitness exam score of 76.31. The average board score was 388.14.
Chief-selects will be promoted according to their promotion sequence number, beginning in January. Selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, which is no later than 10 days after the promotion release date. Airman will be notified if their selection is in question.
