OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Team Osan observed a Prisoners of War/Missing in Action remembrance week Sept. 19 - 26, at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea.

Traditionally observed on the third Friday of September, POW/MIA recognition day serves as a day of remembrance for the numerous POW/MIAs who remain unaccounted for.

For the remembrance week, Team Osan honored POW/MIAs with a reveille and retreat ceremony, a candle-lighting vigil, a 24-hour run and a closing ceremony at the base chapel.
