NOV. 9-12: The BOSS trip to Thailand is now open to all US ID card holders age 18 and above. Cost is $879 for double and $989 for single occupancy which includes airfare, hotel, some meals, historic sites, cultural shows, shopping and an English speaking tour guide. ROBIN HOOD TICKETS -- Tickets are now on sale for the upcoming Community Theatre production of “Robin Hood.” Tickets are $5 for Adults, $2.50 for military personnel E-4 and below and $2.50 for children. Show dates are 7 p.m. Nov. 2 and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Nov 3. Tickets are available at the front desk of the Community Activity Center.
E-7 BOARD PHOTOS – Although the E-7 Promotion Boards won’t meet until January, Staff Sergeants who will be going before the board need to make an appointment now for their official photos in order to avoid the last minute rush. Go to www.vios-west.army.mil and schedule your appointment.

ATTENTION PARENTS OF SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN – Attached is information and the required form for Free or Reduced-Priced School Lunches. As the information points out, you can take the completed form to Parent Central with the required documentation and it will be processed by the School Liaison Office. ARMY ENTERTAINMENT Talent Wanted – Seeking performers and technicians for Army Entertainment programs. Nominations must be submitted by Nov. 1. USFK Regulation 190-1 (Motor Vehicle Traffic Supervision) has been revised with the following substantial changes: it eliminates the need for high-visibility outer upper-body garments, reflective vests or belts when riding motorcycles; all motorcycles/mopeds regardless of size of cubic centimeters (CC’s) must be registered at the Area VRO; handicap decals issued by USFK vehicle recorders are only valid on USFK installations. The Family Readiness Center is temporarily closed because of a bad roof leak. Activities have been moved to the Main ACS as a result. The FRC should reopen next week.

EFFECTIVE NOV 24 – All passengers on Korean public buses and taxis will be required to fasten seatbelts when traveling. According to the revised laws, all passengers taking public buses, including long distance intra-city (blue buses) and express intercity buses (red buses) and taxis must buckle up while the vehicles are in operation. Intra-city village buses (green buses) that travel a short distance in a particular region and small shuttle buses are excluded from the plan.
