Aftershocks May Continue for Months
The Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) is predicting that more aftershocks with a magnitude of three to four will likely continue in Gyeongju, for as long as several months.
423 aftershocks have occurred in the region since a 5.8 magnitude earthquake shook the peninsula last Monday.
The weather agency explained that that 90 percent of the aftershocks have occurred within a 2,5 kilometer radius from the epicenter of the main shock.
