Churro hotdog from Street Churros

Walking through an alley in Itaewon, people literally said “W.T.F.?” when they saw the sign for Street Churro’s Churro Hotdog. The hotdogs are offered at mildly spicy, very spicy, or with relish and cheese sauce, all for under 4,500 won. Much like how Hershey’s chocolate syrup should not be put to rib-eye steak, hotdogs should not be paired with cinnamon and sugar. The good thing is, Street Churros uses only the churro pastry itself, and not the sweeteners, to make their Frankenstein-like monster. All in all, the flavors neutralize each other out. Is the hotdog of a meaty quality? No, but people don’t usually eat hotdogs from a churro stand looking for quality meat.

Street Churros has locations throughout the city and near several universities.
