Five Guys Looking to Expand into Korean Market
Five Guys announced last week that it is accelerating international franchise expansion with plans to enter the Korean market.
The company’s immediate focus is on continued expansion — the hope is to expand to 20 countries total throughout Europe and the Middle East and while also entering the markets of Australia, Japan and South Korea.
Senior partners are expected to arrive in Asia this month to discuss international franchising opportunities with local partners.
Five Guys is a family owned and operated franchise restaurant group that focuses on serving high quality burgers and fries in a clean, no frills atmosphere. In 2003, Five Guys opened its first franchised location and with the help of loyal franchisees, Five Guys has expanded from five to 1,400 locations worldwide.
Five Guys continues to be awarded “best” burger across various markets and ZAGAT Survey said “there are no better burgers.”
