USAG DAEGU — The cadets were taken to the Garrison Consolidated Barracks to have a conversational English discussion with Soldiers and KATUSAs including those from Headquarters and Headquarters Company(HHC). Cpl. Lee, Jae- Hyun, Senior KATUSA, Spc. Joseph Brock and Pfc. John Herrin attended. The Soldiers and cadets introduced themselves and split into four groups-there was one U.S. Soldier per group. For the next 30 minutes the groups asked questions about their interests, countries, military life and their view of the Alliance.

After leaving Camp Henry the cadets took a tour of AFN on Camp Walker. Sgt. 1st Class Victor Gardner, AFN-Daegu Station Manager, greeted the group and had members of his staff show all the cool things AFN could do in the studio.

The cadets’ visit was only for a few hours but they look forward to visiting again and interacting with Garrison Soldiers and KATUSAs.
