McDonald’s to Open First Outlet in Asia Selling Beer
McDonald’s will open its first location in Korea that caters to selling draft beer and premium burgers the company announced.
Opening next Monday in Seongnam, Gyeonggi province, the restaurant will have a capacity of 90 seats.
McDonald’s plans to test the plan and if successful, will look to open similar stores in Sinchon and Gangnam.
The premium burgers, where customers can build their own burgers cost around 7,000 won and are currently available at about 20 locations around the country.
It will be the first McDonald’s restaurant that sells beer in Asia.
