AFN is celebrating "Month of the Military Child" in a big way: putting military kids on TV and letting viewers vote for their favorite kids’ shows.

From now through Mar. 31, the American Forces Network (AFN) is looking for photos of military children by themselves, with siblings, or with their military parent in uniform.

Parents should go to myafn.net, fill out the on-line form, upload a picture and then wait to see whether the photo makes it to AFN TV in April.

Myafn.net is also the on-line location for viewers to vote for their favorite AFN kids TV programs for pre-school, youth and tweens.  AFN will tabulate votes made in March for special marathon programming for kids in April.

Parents are encouraged to use hashtag #MilKidsProps as a way to give their military kids some well-deserved recognition for their accomplishments.
