Situated around 10 meters from the SK gas station in front of MBC in Millak-dong, Andre offers a great selection for brunch as well as cozy and modern ambience.

Established around one year ago, Andre has become popular in the area as a well-known brunch café serving up healthy sized portions at reasonable prices.

Like many newer cafés in Busan, they’ve renovated a house featuring its own modern, unique and comfortable interior. Upon entering in the morning, the fantastic aroma of its homemade scones and butter can tempt even the most die hard of dieters.

The scones and butter are carefully made every morning, and they are so rich and tasty that they usually sell out within a few hours. Along with their fresh, rich brewed coffee, the combination is the perfect start to a new day.

Not wanting to miss out, we ordered scones and a grilled cheese with french fries for 12,000 won, a beef pastrami sandwich for 9,500 won, and an open shrimp sandwich for 7,000 won for brunch.

Their classic grilled cheese oozed from the warm toasted crunchy bread which came with a healthy portion of crispy fries.

The pastrami sandwich was a delight, served toasted with a side pickle and dijon mustard which was the perfect mix for flavor and depth and a great choice if your looking for something a little light.

The savory open shrimp sandwich was juicy which came with arugula which was a nice combination with just enough sauce not to be overpowering.

They use grain or rye bread for every dish and use fresh and quality ingredients. The menu is quite sparse and focuses on just a few items, but what they do offer, they do very well.

Their “American breakfast” served for 15,000 won, consists of rye bread, salad, bacon, sausage, avocado, hash brown, asparagus and a fried egg. Granola yogurt is also available for an extra 7,000 won and a 200g pack of granola is 11,000 won.

For drinks, their popular Andre mocha, coffee, tea, and several varieties of ade are served from 4,000 won to 6,500 won.

The restaurant can be quite busy during lunch time, so plan your time accordingly. It’s a highly recommended brunch spot you’ll want to put on your dining calendar.
