Area I man on the street: Pfc. Victoria Persaud
Our Question: As you know, summer is considered pretty much over and just nine days from now it’ll officially be fall. Before you came to Korea had you heard anything about its summer weather? If so, what had you heard, and now that the summer’s about done, how did it compare with what you’d expected?
“I heard that the summer in Korea was really, it was really brutal, really hot and very humid because of the rainy season as well. I was kind of expecting it to be like Florida because it’s also humid and very hot. I’ve been here for two years in summer. So the first time it was very hot, it was 90s, and this year, it felt like it was a lot more humid and sticky. So, it definitely held up to my expectations.”
