Pfc. Young Gyu Chun, assigned to the Eighth Army Public Affairs Office, explains a photo to a group of school children at the Eighth Army Experience booth at the ROK Ground Forces Festival in Gyeryong, Oct. 4. The Eighth Army booth was part of the U.S. contingent at the festival which also included Soldiers and equipment from the 2nd Infantry Division (Now the 2nd Inf. Div./ROK-U.S. Combined Division), the 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command and the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade who participated in the festival Oct. 2-6 to showcase the U.S. forces role in the ROK to festival attendees. The festival gives attendees a first-hand experience with both ROK and U.S. military members and draws crowds of more than 1 million visitors every year.
