Area I man on the street: Spc. John H. Swindle
Our Question: As you know, summer is considered pretty much over and just nine days from now it’ll officially be fall. Before you came to Korea had you heard anything about its summer weather? If so, what had you heard, and now that the summer’s about done, how did it compare with what you’d expected?
“Before I got to Korea, I heard that weather is gonna be very extreme, humid and hot during the summer. I’m from St. Louis, Missouri. We have kind of high temperature there too, so I wasn’t really worried too much. So, when I got here, it was kinda hot, but it wasn’t really nothing I couldn’t handle too too much. It took some time to get used to, but I’m kinda used to it now.”
