Queen to hold solo concerts in Seoul next year

Queen is set to hold their first solo concerts in Seoul in January of next year as part of the Hyundai Card concert series.

The “Super Concert 25 QUEEN” is set to take place at 7 p.m. on January 18 and 6 p.m. on the 19th at the Gocheok Sky Dome.

It’s their first appearance in Korea since they joined the Super Sonic Music Festival in 2014.

Guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor are joined by Adam Lambert who has taken over vocals for the group since Freddy Mercury’s death.

They will likely be joined by Spike Edney on keyboards, Tyler Warren on percussion and Neil Fairclough on bass.

Ticket prices for the upcoming Seoul concert range from 110,000 won to 187,000 won, with standing admission costing 154,000 won or 165,000 won.

The tickets will be made available at and at noon on June 14.

Hyundai Card holders can book tickets a day earlier, at noon on June 13, and can also get a discount of 20 percent for up to four tickets per person according to the Korea Herald.
