AFN Packing in the Excitement Over 4th of July Weekend

Spectacular fireworks, loud rock and roll, menacing sharks, loads of movies, a fun game and Ft. Bragg baseball are just a few of the ways AFN is using to make your 4th of July holiday memorable.

Watch A Capital Fourth, July 5th at 5 p.m.. It’s a star-spangled party and all-star salute from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capital.  After that, watch Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at 6:30 p.m..  Both shows are on AFN|spectrum (JKT/CET).

Tune in to AFN Internet Radio’s Legacy for “Four for the 4th,” an Independence Day special of four-song blocks of some of the top classic rock artists.  It begins at 6 a.m. and wraps up 9 p.m. July 4  (CET/JKT).

Watch toothy action now through July 4th with The Discovery Channel’s Shark Week on AFN|spectrum.

AFN|movie has loads of movies with a theme of America, Independence Day and Patriotism:  Banner 4th of July at 5 a.m., Independence Day-saster at 6:30 a.m., Chasing Liberty at 9 a.m., 1776 at 11 a.m., and The Patriot at 1:30 p.m).   AFN|movie wraps up the 4th with movies full of action “fireworks:” Captain America: The First Avenger at 4 p.m., Captain America: The Winter Soldier at 6:30 p.m., Men in Black 3 at 9 p.m. and Olympus Has Fallen at 11 p.m.. (All times are in JKT/CET).

Major League Baseball built a stadium at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.  Now watch the game the stadium was built for as the Miami Marlins meet the Atlanta Braves live on AFN|sports July 4 at 3 a.m. CET and 9 a.m. JKT.
