Bulgogi Burgers will return to McDonald’s menus in Korea Friday as health authorities have confirmed that the meat was not responsible for an enteritis outbreak late last month.

Seven students and a teacher reportedly showed symptoms of enteritis, with high fevers, diarrhea and stomachaches on August 25th in Jeonju.

No abnormalities in the ingredients or hygiene standards of the store were found according to McDonald’s Korea in a statement.

The Ministry of Food and Safety investigated the cause of the sicknesses reported at the fast food giant, which faced a similar complaints in July when a toddler became ill after eating a reported undercooked burger.
