Far East District (FED) employees, (L) Chad McLeod, Construction Division chief and Michael Miyagi, Construction Branch chief, conducted a one-on-one Q&A session, after hosting the first Virtual Industry Day at the Far East District headquarters, Mar. 17. FED Industry Day was held to familiarize the industry with projected opportunities and for them to provide feedback.

Industry Day at the Far East District

Far East District (FED), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), held a virtual Industry Day at District Headquarters, Mar. 17. Industry Day is an event held by a Department of Defense (DoD) Program Management Office (PMO) to present the plans for a current or future bid to representatives from the contractor community.
The Scouts of America Troop 159 (girls) and Troop 47 (boys), ranging from ages 11 to 16, based out of USAG Humphreys, competed in the Klondike Derby, Feb. 20-21. Competition categories included first aid, bear bag throw, fire starting, evacuating an injured scout, and more.
