Camp Humphreys to host Juneteenth event

Camp Humphreys to host Juneteenth event
We are celebrating diversity through unity by creating a family reunion experience to bring the community together. All attendees will have the chance to join one of four "families" and participate in friendly competition to earn points towards winning the "Pride Rock" family-spirit award.
- Current schedule of events include: Historical Reflection of the Importance and Origins of Juneteenth, Family Reunion Styled Line Dances, Performance by the 8th Army Band, Humphreys Got Talent Show, Community Softball Mini-tournament, African American Heritage Council sponsored Football Game, Kid Activities and a dunk tank with some very special garrison leadership sitting in the booth.
- The SFC Ray E. Duke Memorial Library will be on the scene kicking off their Summer Reading: Reading Colors Your World program. There will be plenty of food available with the AAFES Food Trucks and the MWR Smoke Shak in attendance. We will also have vendors and private organizations with information tables and items for sale.
