The beloved 1994 Disney animation ‘The Lion King’ Broadway musical has been seen by 95 million people across the world since 1997.
The performances will be the first at the new Dream Theater, the first theater exclusively for musicals in Busan with more than 1,700 seats in the Munhyeon Financial Center.
The Lion King is a one-of-a-kind majestic production that has established a new level of artistry for musical theatre from the staging, costumes, and choreography which are reminiscent of the vast savannahs of Africa and its distinctive animal characters. The musical is also greatly shaped by African music, language, and arts.
The show runs for 150 minutes and tickets range between 60,000 won to 170,000 won.
The tour has already completed their opening tour of Korea in Daegu and is currently running in Seoul until March 28th.
