The Eighth Army Wightman NCO Academy holds a ribbon cutting ceremony at Camp Humphreys

The Eighth Army Wightman NCO Academy held a ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication at Camp Humphreys, South Korea, July 10.

They kicked off the day with some motivated physical training joined by Sgt. Maj. Anthony Spadaro (USMC), the senior enlisted leader of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and Eighth Army-Korea Command Sgt. Maj. Richard Merritt. The Sergeants Major along with Trey Johnson, a retired Army colonel and program manager from U.S. Army Pacific also joined the Soldiers of basic leader's course class 07-18 for lunch.

Spadaro and Johnson are visiting Camp Humphreys as part of a "Greenbook" initiative to develop more resilient, adaptive and innovative Soldiers and leaders.
