The first real cold wave of the season is expected to arrive next week, bringing a sharp drop in temperatures across Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang Province.

On Monday, temperatures are forecast to reach their lowest point this month, dipping to around 5°C in many areas.

On the morning of the 27th, temperatures are expected to reach 10°C in Busan, 8°C in Ulsan, and between 5°C and 11°C across Gyeongnam. Daytime highs will range from 12°C to 16°C.

The coldest day will come on the 28th, with morning lows of 7°C in Busan, 5°C in Ulsan, and as low as 2°C inland.

Strong winds reaching up to 15 m/s are expected in coastal regions, making it feel even colder. Frost and light ice are likely in the higher inland areas of Gyeongnam.

The chill will continue through Tuesday, the 29th, with morning temperatures between 1°C and 8°C and highs between 16°C and 19°C.

However, conditions are expected to gradually warm up starting midweek.

By November 5, daytime temperatures are forecast to rise above 20°C in parts of Busan and Ulsan, though mornings will remain cold, creating large daily temperature swings.
