A horse went on a 30 minute run on the streets after escaping from Myeong-ji Market in Gangseo-gu.

According to police, the horse escaped the market around 3 p.m. on Thursday and crossed the Ulseukdo Bridge and moved to Haedong-dong, Saha-gu. After that, he passed the river road and strolled 10 kilometers to Sasang-gu Umgung Agricultural Market.

The horse managed to avoided passing cars by running down the side of the four-lane road.

Police and the fire department were notified by a passing car and the horse was finally caught when the fire trucks in the vicinity of the agricultural products market blocked the front of the horse and the firefighters caught the reins.

Its since been returned to its owner.
