A group of 6th-grade students from Humphreys Middle School attended a hands-on workshop at Stars and Stripes’ Korea Area Office on Camp Humphreys on Dec. 5, learning about the mission of Stars and Stripes Pacific and the various roles in a multimedia news organization. The students spoke with representatives from the Revenue, Logistics, Print Shop and Marketing teams and took a deeper dive into reporting and writing with members of our Editorial and Publishing and Media Design teams. The group later went to the AFN studio on base to learn about the operation there. The Stars and Stripes team is proud to be a part of what teacher Kathy Goldblum-Vazquez said her students called “the best field trip ever.”
