Jung-gu in Busan is South Korea’s most dangerous place to live

Jung-gu in Busan is considered the most dangerous place to live in South Korea according to new statistics released last week.

According to the Ministry of Interior and Safety’s report, Jung-gu has the highest suicide rate in the country.

Based on seven categories, including traffic accidents, fire, crime, suicide, natural disaster, safety and diseases, a ranking system based on five points was used to measure where the safest places to live in the country are.

Busan ranked one of the worst places to live with more than two categories ranked worst along with Sejong, while Gyeonggi province was ranked as the best place to live in the country.
