Korean buffet restaurant on Camp Casey holds formal opening
On Camp Casey in Dongducheon Oct. 12, officials hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the formal opening of a buffet style restaurant serving Korean food.
The restaurant, known simply as Korean Restaurant, is in building 2409 on the first floor and is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
It currently serves lunch and dinner but plans are for breakfast to be served in the near future.
Leading the ceremony was Lt. Col. Brian A. Jacobs, Commander, U.S. Army Garrison Casey, accompanied by Command Sgt. Maj. Jason R. Copeland, the garrison’s senior enlisted leader, and Gregory B. Kirkland, its Deputy to the Garrison Commander, as well as officials of the Exchange, also known as the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES).
The ribbon-cutting was followed by a cake-cutting.
