More food poisoning cases as heat wave continues

As heat wave continues to affect Busan, mass food poisoning cases are relentlessly being reported as well.

10 students from a high school soccer team in Busanjin district had reported having diarrhea and abdominal pain. After conducting an epidemiological study on the soccer team, food poisoning bacteria was found in about half of the team.

Since early this month, Busan city has had reports of people suffering symptoms of food poisoning, including a case of a big hospital in Haeundae where 140 employees have shown symptoms of food poisoning after eating from the employee cafeteria.
