CHINHAE, Republic of Korea (March 23, 2017) U.S. Navy and Republic of Korea (ROK) navy diving and salvage experts participate in the first bilateral diver training exercise on ROK ship Tong Yeong (ATS 31), during Salvage Exercise (SALVEX) Korea 2017. SALVEX Korea 2017 is part of Exercise Foal Eagle, a​ ​series of joint and combined field training exercises which demonstrates the​ ​United States' commitment to the Republic of Korea and U.S. Alliance, and​ ​enhances the combat readiness, flexibility, and capabilities of the combined​ ​force.
