Soldiers with the 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command from across the Korean peninsula, participated in a fourth day of “Team 19” Best Warrior Competition events, March 7 at Camp Walker, Camp Henry and Masan, Korea.

Not knowing everything that was in store for them on day four must have been stressful for our Best Warrior competitors. Although stress is always a huge factor and a reality for any competitor, our warriors had to suck it up as they went on to compete in an early morning Army Physical Fitness Test.

Later, competitors were sent to shoot, move and communicate during a Known Distance and Stress Shooting event at Masan Range.

Event facilitators brought on as much stress as possible during the event. This challenged the soldiers to remain in control and to focus on the task at hand; a requirement for any Soldier on a battlefield.

The group of “Team 19” warriors finished up on the range and headed back to Camp Henry where a mystery event awaited them. One by one, competitors entered a conference room where they were given 15 minutes to assemble the coat of an Army service uniform with awards and decorations, according to information provided to them on a Soldier’s Record Brief. This mystery event forced competitors to work quickly, calling on their military awards and decorations skills for proper placement and order of precedence.

After the last event of the day, competitors went to rest and prepare for the last round of events they will face tomorrow.

Stay tuned for our last day of competition as we inch closer to finding out which of our Best Warriors will go forward to represent “Team 19” at the Eighth Army competition and beyond. Please tell us, what events would you add if you were in charge of the Best Warrior Competition?
