United Nations Day Ceremony in Busan Oct. 24

The city of Busan will celebrate the 73rd anniversary of United Nations Day, holding a ceremony which will be attended by 700 people, including diplomatic delegations from participants in the Korean War, foreign and domestic war veterans, and military personnel from the armed forces, including the army, navy, and air force, at the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Daeyeon-dong at 11 am on the 24th.
The ceremony for United Nations Day is held every year to honor those who died serving in the Korean War and to admire the spirit of the United Nations for freedom and peace protection as United Nations Day is celebrated on October 24th.
