U.S. Navy Korea held its National Hispanic Heritage Month observance. As of June 2018, approximately 59,000 active and Reserve Sailors of Hispanic heritage serve in the U.S. Navy contributing to the strength of the nation's force.

We also took this moment to observe Disability Employment Awareness Month. The entire U.S. military is committed to providing equal opportunity for everyone, regardless of race, skin color, religious views, sexual orientation, and disability.
