Roxanne Holland passed away Dec. 21 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. She was 58 years old. She is survived by her husband Tom and three-year-old son Barton.

In June 2015 Roxanne  was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer and has been undergoing treatment since then.    This past Thanksgiving Weekend the doctors at Samsung Hospital discovered 3 tumors in her brain and advised Roxanne and her family that the end was near. On Dec. 4 Roxanne and her family flew home to Cape Elizabeth to be with their family.
Roxanne, who was raised in Alvin, Texas, started working at the Dragon Hill Lodge in Dec 1991 shortly after the Dragon Hill Lodge opened. For the past 24 years she has been a well-known face throughout the Yongsan Community, USFK and PACOM Far East Region for her highly visible roles as the Dragon Hill Lodge Director of Marketing, Public Affairs and Special Events. For the tens of thousands who over the years have visited the Dragon Hill Lodge and attended events such as Octoberfests, Winefests, New Years’ Eve Parties and Christmas and other Holiday Events Roxanne has been their “Voice and Face of the Dragon Hill Lodge.”
