Two wild boars have been captured in two days near a temple in Geumjeong mountain.

On the night of the 29th, a 70kg wild boar was caught by a hazard response team in Geumjeong mountain near Daedeok temple in Oncheondong, Dongnae district.

Another 90kg wild boar was killed by the team on the 30th in the afternoon in a similar area.

A total of nine wild boars were found and killed in Geumjeong mountain around Bok, Geumjeong, and Dongnae districts last month.

The Busan branch of Wildlife Management Association said that the reasons could be because the wild boars are on the move in the search for bigger prey as winter approaches, and added it could also be because of a group of wild boars that may have recently moved from Yangsan.
