Welcome to the USAG-Yongsan 1st Purple Gala, hosted by your Family Advocacy Program Team. We are excited that you have chosen to spend a fantastic night with us at the Main Post Club. Our key note speaker, Mildred Muhammad is known as an "Awarded Global Speaker, Certified Consultant with Office of Victims of Crime; Speaker for the US Dept of State, CNN contributor, Author, Advocate and trainer. As the ex-wife of the D.C. sniper, John A. Muhammad, who went on a three-week rampage and intended to end with the killing of Mildred herself.

The very personal details of her experiences involving fear, abuse and victim-blaming, has allowed Mildred's mission to be even more influential throughout the world.  She has been recognized throughout military communities for championship of the Family Advocacy Program and their mission to educate, promote and end Domestic Violence in Military Communities. Tonight she will share her expertise on what it's like to be a victim and a survivor of domestic violence "without physical scars."

This event is open to all ID card holders.

Your Family Advocacy Program is looking forward to your attendance.
