On October 25th, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, represented by the Pi Eta Zeta and Phi Eta Zeta Chapters, joined forces with the Order of the Eastern Stars Betty L. Simmons Chapter 166 to host a powerful Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at USAG Humphreys. The event welcomed community members and families to learn more about breast cancer resources, emphasizing the importance of prescreening and early detection.
Participants received breast cancer themed merchandise to help raise awareness, while representatives from the Republic of Korea Divine 9 Organizations were also in attendance, offering valuable information about local medical centers that provide prevention and treatment services.
More than 75 attendees walked a 2 mile route in solidarity, making meaningful strides in the fight against breast cancer. The event fostered a spirit of unity and hope, with families enjoying music, fellowship, and heartfelt conversations with breast cancer survivors.
In partnership with the American Cancer Society, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated continues to champion a vision of health equity, increased awareness, and community empowerment. Their ongoing commitment aims to reduce disparities and expand access to life-saving resources in the battle against breast cancer.
