CAMP WALKER, South Korea – Last regular season couldn’t have been more rough on Denali Clites and Daegu’s girls basketball team.

After winning or sharing the two previous Korea Red Division regular-season title, the rebuilding Warriors were promoted to the top-tier Blue Division … and lost all 10 games, some by blowout margins.

Then came the Korea season-ending Plate Tournament and Daegu’s first two wins of the season, including the third-place game.
