Wine lovers will once again gather in Yeongdong, Chungcheongbuk-do, as the 15th Korea Wine Festival takes place from June 11 to 14.
Held in Korea’s largest wine-producing region, the annual festival celebrates the country’s growing wine industry with tastings, cultural performances, food experiences, and family-friendly activities.
Visitors will have the opportunity to sample a wide range of locally produced wines while exploring regional foods and specialty products.
The festival program includes a variety of events, such as the Korea Wine Awards, an opening ceremony, live concerts, busking performances, wine auctions, and educational wine academy sessions. Visitors can also browse wine sales booths and a marketplace featuring local small businesses.
Hands-on activities will be available throughout the festival, including wine glass painting, custom wine glass decorating, fruit skewer making, sangria workshops, and a carousel for younger visitors.
Admission is free, making the event an accessible way to experience Korean wine culture while enjoying the scenic surroundings of Yeongdong.
