Busan Bites: Dongbaek’s Sushi Berry fills your sushi craving

A little off-the-beaten tourist path, but well-known to locals, Sushi Berry has been at the top of sushi lovers list of places to go since its opening a few years ago.

Known for its reasonable prices, large portions and unique homemade sauces, Sushi Berry has become a staple for those looking to get a good, quality sushi fix.

The chef mixes a traditional Japanese and American-style fusion with lively textures and flavors consistently delivering culinary excellence.

The restaurants casual atmosphere, great prices and quality taste has brought loyal patrons back for years. The course menus and fried twigim are customer favorites.

Keep in mind that there’s not many seats so there’s sometimes a wait, but it’s well-worth it. And plan on being there an hour or so — the food comes fresh-to-order so sit back, relax and enjoy the goodness.

The friendly owner also speaks English, so language barrier is not an issue.

Directions: Go to Dongbaek Station (Green Line #204). Go out Exit 4 walk straight for 100 meters and take the second right under a bridge. Keep walking straight and it’s across from 7/11.
