The 16th Busan Mackerel Festival takes place from October 31 to November 2 around the Songdo Beach area.
Mackerel, the city fish of Busan, is in season in the autumn. Visitors can taste variously cooked mackerel at the festival.
Visitors can enjoy various events including catching mackerel, tasting baked mackerel, riding sea kayaks and more.
