Busan Museum to host a tea ceremony experience

Want to experience a traditional tea ceremony in Busan? The Busan Museum hosts a tea ceremony experience hall in the cultural experience center.

This is a corner where you may have a first-hand experience of tea ceremony in the presence of an instructor.

This program is available four times a day (10:30, 13:30, 15:00, 16:30) only to those who have made a reservation in advance through the homepage of the Busan Museum.

You can make a reservation here, however, the site is only in Korean.

Tea Ceremony Experience for Foreigners

  1. For the Tea Ceremony, you must have a certificate of alien registration or residential passport in order to register on the Busan Metropolitan Homepage System. With these available documents, you can process to log in the system to the homepage of Busan Metropolitan Government and then book the Tea Ceremony of Busan Museum.
  2. For general Tourists: The Tea ceremony is only available with on-site reservation unless the internet reservation is fully booked on the day. Also, phone reservations are not available.

Directions: Metro Line 2, Daeyeon Station (Exit 3 or 5). Proceed 700 meters towards Busan Museum.
