Daegu has released a new multilingual restaurant guide to help international visitors explore the city’s food scene during the 2026 World Masters Athletics Championships.

The guide, titled “Today in Daegu,” is available in English, Chinese, and Japanese and features 110 restaurants selected to introduce visitors to the city’s diverse culinary offerings.

More than 11,000 athletes and officials from 106 countries are expected to visit Daegu for the championships.

In addition to restaurant listings, the guide highlights Daegu’s food culture by introducing the city’s 10 signature dishes, traditional markets, popular food streets, and café districts.

Each listing includes recommended menu items, location information, and translations designed to be easy for overseas visitors to understand.

The guide will be available free of charge at information desks and competition venues throughout the event, as well as participating hotels, Dongdaegu Station, and the Dongseong-ro Tourist Information Center.

Visitors can also access the guide online through the Daegu Food website.
