The 23rd Daejeo Tomato Festival, which offers visitors a taste of freshly harvested tomatoes, will take place from March 21-22 at Gangseo Sports Park.

How to get there: Sports Park Station (Metro line 3), exit 1. Walk about 10 minutes toward the park.

March 21

9:30 a.m. – Street performance by the wind orchestra

10:10 a.m. – Main performances: farmer magician show, original drawing show

11:00 a.m. – Opening ceremony: declaration, awards, guest introductions, resolution adoption, Giant tomato spaghetti cooking and sharing event

12:30 p.m. – Celebration performances: traditional Korean dance and saxophone

1:00 p.m. – Tomato eco-walk competition

2:30 p.m. – Celebration performances: harmonica, Silver Glow Choir, acoustic guitar

4:00 p.m. – Stage events: tomato auction, prize draw, tomato-themed activities

5:00 p.m. – Farmers’ singing contest and guest singer performance

March 22 (Sun)

10:00 a.m. – Tomato eco-walk competition, festival drawing activity

11:30 a.m. – Main stage performances: Gangseo-gu Youth Orchestra, ocarina, fusion percussion, folk songs, saxophone

12:30 p.m. – Tomato event activities

2:00 p.m. – Celebration performance: traditional troupe (Garako performers), prize draw

3:00 p.m. – “Tomato Love” live karaoke and guest singer performance

5:00 p.m. – Closing ceremony
