Hadong-gun announced that it has urgently relocated the main venue for the “2025 Eat Hadong, Hadong Star Taste Festival” to Hadong-eup Bipari 47-14 (Singiro Rotary Seomjin Park).
The three-day event, running from November 7 to 9, was originally scheduled at the Hadong Songnim Park fountain area.
The decision to move the venue was made to protect the learning environment of students at nearby Hadong Girls’ High School and Hadong High School as they prepare for the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) on November 13. The change aims to reduce potential noise and traffic congestion during the critical study period while enhancing operational stability and visitor accessibility.
The new Bipari Seomjin Park site, located near the Singiro Rotary, provides easier transportation, ample parking, and scenic surroundings by the Seomjin River. Its natural setting and nearby amenities are expected to create a pleasant atmosphere and add tourism value to the festival.
Under the theme “Eat Hadong 2025,” this year’s festival will feature programs such as star pizza making, sweet potato mousse cooking, a barefoot walking event, and a Seomjin River reading party.
