Sick of “brunch” cafes with the same old stuff?
Inouf is an awesome cafe that has amazingly layered coffee and fresh and creative drinks — all coupled with excellent quality meals too. The owners have travelled and studied from cafes worldwide and have modeled their menu around their experiences.
Their Granola Bowl is a mix of home-roasted granola, fresh seasonal fruit, yogurt and honey. Also photographed is the Cream Veg; a hearty cream sauce with eggplant, mushrooms and sausage, served with toasted raison bread. It exudes homely flavor that will remind you of your gran.
The open sandwiches are also wonderful and the Fig Tartine is a current seasonal treat that can’t be missed.
Along with all the great food is excellent coffee. Inouf make some styles not readily available; like my favorite, the Piccolo Latte — strong, nutty and complex, and the creative Coco Sweet — bitter and sweet. For those not into coffee, check the excellent drinks made with perfectly matched real fruits that will freshen your day.
Inouf is a cozy little place in the Jeongpo cafe streets not far from the NC Department Store, or The Burger Shop. The staff can speak English and the menu has English, but keep in mind that they probably can’t accommodate large groups and you’re required to order a beverage per person.
