Jimmy John’s Busan Branch has officially opened its doors in Busan, marking the sandwich chain’s first location in the city.

The new store began operations in mid-April on Busandaehak-ro near Pusan National University, placing it in one of Busan’s busiest student and foot-traffic districts.

Known in the United States for its fast-made submarine sandwiches and delivery-focused service, Jimmy John’s has built a strong following for its simple menu of cold deli sandwiches, toasted bread options, cookies, and sides.

Its arrival in Busan adds another international quick-service brand to the growing university-area dining market around PNU.

The Busan branch is operating weekdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., with final orders taken 30 minutes before closing.

Located just steps from the university’s main commercial strip, the store is expected to draw a mix of students, nearby residents, and foreign visitors familiar with the brand.
