Lt. Col. Jon Gardner assumes command of USAG Casey

At a change-of-command ceremony inside the Carey Physical Fitness Center on Camp Casey in Dongducheon July 27, Lt. Col. Jon Gardner (second from right) assumes command of U.S. Army Garrison Casey, replacing Lt. Col. Edward D. Eldridge (left), who commanded the garrison for the past two years and moves to a new assignment. Passing the unit colors to Gardner is Col. Jack Haefner, Commander, U.S. Army Garrison Red Cloud and Area I. At right is Command Sgt. Maj. Pedro Guevara Jr., USAG Casey's senior enlisted leader. Gardner'’s previous assignment was with Special Operations Command-Europe, where he served as the Military Information Support Operations (MISO) Division chief.
