McDonald’s Korea has introduced two seasonal burgers, the Christmas Truffle Cheese Burger and the Christmas Hot Truffle Cheese Burger, both built around a heavier winter-style combination of cheese, potato, and truffle flavors.
Each burger includes an aligot croquette, a French-inspired mixture of mashed potatoes blended with mozzarella, cheddar, and comté-style cheeses, formed into a patty to add a dense, elastic texture beneath the beef patty.
The standard Christmas Truffle Cheese Burger uses a truffle ranch sauce, emphasizing a creamy and aromatic profile.
The Hot Truffle version incorporates a spicy truffle sauce, adding gentle heat while keeping the focus on the cheese and potato croquette. Both versions layer lettuce, tomato, cheese slices, and sesame buns to complete the structure.
The seasonal set features a holiday-themed drink option, the Merry Berry McFizz, whihch combines the flavors of Sprite and raspberries.
For breakfast, McDonald’s has added a winter-themed Christmas Truffle Cheese Muffin that incorporates similar cheese-forward and potato-based flavors.
